What fixed my issue was that using a web browser I logged on to access my account info. I had no problems logging in and accessing my email through the Yahoo Email website. Then recently, my Outlook had issues connecting to the email server.
#SBCGLOBAL EMAIL SETTINGS FOR MAC MAIL ANDROID#
On my windows 7 mobile, android tablet, etc. Then, I started to get messages of different devices that I had to input my email password. I made sure that I would still be able to use my email which I guess is now a free account. In Oct., I finally dropped ATT DSL for Xfinity. I did have a DSL account with ATT in which my email and account were part of this setup. I just solved my issue with getting my password getting rejected by Outlook. I'm just stuck in the middle with an older couple who are very frustrated and angry wondering why this sorcery doesn't work. Just taking a shot in the dark that someone out there has some info to help resolve.īy the way, AT&T points blame to me not using correct settings and to Microsoft for their email client. The web shows it has effected other people in the past, but I have not seen any explanation or solution. I have configured their account in Outlook Express and Outlook 2010 to confirm the issue an no email client has worked, they all have the same result.Īnyone, ever run into this. I can log into Yahoo mail using the username/password fine.

I have the settings from AT&T correctly configured in the email client but it keeps rejecting the authentication giving an error code that the username/password are incorrect. They have an SBCGlobal, and they are using Windows Live Mail for their email client (They have a hard time working with the Yahoo mail website). I have been helping out an older couple with their email this past week.
